SySTEM 2020 Impact

This report draws from all the SySTEM 2020 work carried out by all organisations involved. Its purpose is to provide a birds-eye view of what the project has offered to the field of research and practice, firstly by summarising and reflecting on process and findings and secondly by interrogating the lasting impact of these findings and their associated activity. The report is framed around three key questions:

  1. How is science learning experienced by learners?
  2. How can institutions support and further science learning in non-formal and
    informal contexts?
  3. What has the impact of the project research and practical activity on learners,
institutions, and the wider science learning field?

These questions are mapped across social, technical, political and economic realms, to demonstrate the varied and extensive contributions the project has made within Europe.
